Shed the Light
The structure used here is an abandoned shed. My practice in photography using light painting aims to create a sense of belonging and warmth but also a feeling of isolation and mystery.
This shed is what ties my friends and I together, a communal experience with an abandoned shed that we go to in our daily lives of our youth. This space allows for connectedness with each other and gives us a sense of freedom. This sense of belonging provides warmth for this environment in which we go to escape and forget. I have used light painting to highlight these personal moments.
