Contemporary Modular Desk in New Guinea Rosewood

Fuelled by his desire to create a functional entertainment and workspace area, Angus used New-Guinea Rosewood and American Rock Maple to create a Mid-Century Modern inspired desk.

Assembled with domino joints, the carcases feature contrasting inlays, housing deep drawers and artistic displays. In conjunction with these carcases, the central drawer provides a slim space to neatly tuck away a laptop or workbook. The frame, which supports the desktop, is assembled and strengthened by an array of joinery techniques, including Mortise and Tenon, Housing, Cross Halving and Feathered Mitre joints.
